Dr. James W. S. Yansen, Jr.
Dr. James W. S. Yansen, Jr., is an ordained and anointed minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and has served in ministry for over 29 years. He has been privileged to serve as a pastor, Bible teacher, lecturer in theology and religion, youth ministries specialist, revival speaker, and evangelist. His ministry has taken him to various parts of the Caribbean, Bermuda, the United States, Canada, France, England, and South Africa.
James earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theology and Biblical Languages and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. James holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Eastern Nazarene College. He earned a Master of Sacred Theology (STM) in Biblical and Historical Studies, a Ph.D. in Theological Studies with sub-concentrations in History and Hermeneutics (Old Testament/Hebrew Bible) from Boston University School of Theology, Boston, Massachusetts. His research interests include prophetic literature, the intersections of contemporary theologies and biblical studies, the book of Lamentations, and trauma studies. He has been a member of the Society of Biblical Literature and the Alpha Theta Xi chapter of the Theta Alpha Kappa honours society in religious studies and theology.
James has worked as an Instructor and Assistant Professor of Religion and Theology at the University of the Southern Caribbean (formerly Caribbean Union College), Trinidad, where he received the Excellence in Teaching award (1999). He worked as an Adjunct instructor at Boston University School of Theology, where he received the F. Don and Gerti Scholarship for Hebrew Bible Studies Doctoral Fellowships (2007-2009). James is the author of Daughter Zion’s Trauma: A Trauma-Informed Reading of the Book of Lamentations, which is part of Gorgias Press’ Biblical Intersections series.
James has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Religion at Oakwood University and is currently the pastor of the Hyde Park Seventh-day Adventist Church in Boston, Massachusetts. He joyfully shares in Christian service with his wife, Dr. Nadiège Bartin-Yansen, and their two children, Jedd and Joachim. Together, they are committed to building up the Kingdom of God and manifesting Jesus Christ.
Dr Samuel Telemaque
Dr Samuel Telemaque is the Director Adventist Mission, in the Inter- American Division of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. His mission is to inspire children, youth and adults around the world to achieve their full potential and to be ready for the glorious return of Jesus.
Samuel Telemaque holds a B.Th degree from Caribbean Union College; a Masters of Art in Religion from Andrews University, Masters of Arts in Inter- cultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary; and Doctor of Missiology at Andrews Theological Seminary.
Dr. Samuel Telemaque conducted intercultural missions in many countries. Some of these countries include Australia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, India, Africa, Hong Kong, England, France, Canada, Dubai and all the countries of the Inter-American Division.
Dr. Samuel Telemaque is married to Elvetha Telemaque. She holds a PhD in Education. God has blessed them with two sons – Shemaiah Telemaque, A Computer Engineer, and Kemuel Telemaque is a medical doctor.
Dr Laszlo Gallusz
Dr Laszlo Gallusz is a principal lecturer in New Testament Studies and the Head of the Centre for Ministry and Mission at Newbold College of Higher Education. He holds a doctorate from Karoli Gaspar University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. His dissertation, examining the Throne Motif in the Book of Revelation, was published in the Library of New Testament Studies by T&T Clark (London).
He authored and edited several other books and scholarly articles on English, Hungarian and Serbian languages. His main research interests are the Johannine writings, Revelation and New Testament eschatology. Before joining Newbold College, he taught at Belgrade Theological Seminary and worked for the church in South-East European Union in different capacities: as pastor, conference departmental director and union departmental director.
He was also the academic dean of the Belgrade Theological Seminary. Since 2016, he has been a member of the Biblical Research Institute Committee (GC) and is actively involved in contemporary scholarly research.
He is an assistant editor of the new Seventh-Day Adventist Biblical-Theological Dictionary, published electronically in July 2025. He is also working on a commentary on the Gospel of John, which will be published in the forthcoming Seventh-Day Adventist International Biblical Commentary.
Dr Gallusz lives in Binfield (UK) and is married to Helena, with whom they have a son, Benjamin.
Dr. Aaron Chancy
Dr. Aaron Chancy grew up in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, but like many youths, left as a young teenager! His life outside of church took him to a juvenile detention centre when he was 16, jail for the first time when he was 17, and prison for a five-year sentence when he was 19. To make a long story short, God has redeemed, restored, and renewed him; he has been in Christ since 2008.
Dr. Chancy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Theology from Oakwood University (2016), a Master of Divinity from Andrews University (2018), and a Doctor of Ministry from Andrews University (2023). He has pastored in the Northeastern Conference (2019–2023), serving churches in Queens, The Bronx, and Syracuse, NY, and in the Lake Region Conference (2024), ministering in the Detroit metro area.
He is married to Shackarah Chancy, an accomplished educator with a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Education. She is licensed to teach in Biology grades 7-12, students with disabilities grades 7-12 and General Science K-12. They currently reside in Philadelphia, PA, where they work together to raise their family and create innovative ministry ideas as a unified team.
Pretha Garnett-Radlein
Pretha Garnett-Radlein is a Canadian citizen. She began singing at the age of six years old. When her pastoral parents took a call to minister in Barbados, her music ministry blossomed. She sang for various church programmes and events around the island and in other countries in the Caribbean. Pretha continued singing while studying at the University of the Southern Caribbean, where she was regarded as one of the most talented singers. Pretha and Pastor Fitzroy Radlein share two beautiful Children, Ramiah 15 and Mikael 12. Pretha has been ministering in song for over 25 years and has had the privilege of using her gift in South America, the Caribbean, North America, Africa, and Great Britain. She deems it a blessing be able to touch lives through song. She has decided to dedicate her life to singing of the goodness of God!
